font-size: 12pt;\">Dusit Laguna Resort Villas and Hotel is conceived as a result of the growing demand for both short and long stay of foreign tourists in Phuket through the years. The program houses a hotel building and a cluster of 22 villas as the architect delivers a floor plan that opens itself up to the massive lake to fully embrace the spectacular view. Allocated to be horizontally overlapped with the axes thoughtfully twisted, &nbsp;the buildings\u2019 structures visually shield each other\u2019s functional interior space, offering a greater sense of privacy for the guests.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: rm-pro-regular; font-size: 12pt;\">In terms of the design concept, the architect combines the architectural compositions of a traditional Phuket house such as the openings to enable natural airflow to the design elements of Tropical architecture to enhance the program\u2019s natural ventilation. Thai patterns are selected and simplified, rendering a look that is more contemporary.
