A TOWNHOME-TURNED-OFFICE RENOVATION PROJECT BY ANONYM THAT GOES ‘GREEN’ IN MORE WAYS THAN ONE
Thai TV production office Green 26 recently received a full renovation from Bangkok-based Anonym, the architecture studio of Phongphat Ueasangkhomset and Parnduangjai Roojnawate. Located in a typical townhouse, the contrasting green and white ceiling, floor and wall features that run throughout the 62-square-meter office space aim to link both the past and future uses of the building. A covered walkway was further placed within the structure’s unused backyard space, bringing an extra sense of life into the rooms through the use of reflected light. A new inner courtyard was also created to complement the simple yet spacious working space and when asked, why green? in terms of both color and a consciousness for the environment, Anonym described that “we used green to reference the name of the company as well as the client’s favorite color, but also as a means of representing those natural elements that we strived to incorporate into and within the space.”
