CONNECTING LIFE – Young artist Vichaya (Win) Mukdamanee has been interested in Thai beliefs and consumerist societies. He’s collecting objects and experiences in diverse forms, which become his raw materials in making art.
PERSONALIZED CORNERS – This is first house by ‘IF’ a young architecture firm. Despite the simple box, the architects have filled it with many playful ‘corners’ throughout the house and also cut the angle to create an interesting form and the identity of the house.
THE RED MONOLITH – Hawthorn Tompkins has installed a bright red auditorium among the Brutalist concrete masses of London’s National Theatre. This pop-up red box is entirely cladded with rough sawn timber boards. The shed is a playful but thoughtful building.
