With her new line of jewelry already gaining an international reputation for its high-level of craftsmanship, these pieces speak for themselves.
SMOOTH OPERATOR – Zonic Vision, who creates GPS navigators and car audio systems, sets up shop in a new office designed by Stu/D/O Architects. The clean white architecture creates a sense of ever-changing space with a facade that appears to radiate different moods depending on fluctuations of light throughout the day.
BEAUTIFUL MINDS – As young graphic designers have created new fonts to help people with dyslexia read more effectively and a range of products inspired by a young designer’s dyslexia has won the New Designer of the Year Award, commendable movements such as these could be a source of motivation for the design world to create conscientiously.
WILD THING – JAKOB+MACFARLANE has brought to the fore of the FRAC Centre an emerging dynamic form based on parametric deformation and the extrusion of the grids of the existing building. The turbulent FRAC Centre become the emblem of a place devoted to experimentation in all its forms, from the hybridization of disciplines to architectural changes occurring in the digital age.
STRESS FREE ZONE – Another great show to end the year 2013 at BACC was RESORT: An Exhibition of Landscape and Rest. This show has brought artists, architects and designers from various fields together to create an ideal space everyone can enjoy.

JUST ONE MINUTE, FOREVER – 100 Tonson Gallery celebrate their 10th Anniversary with the exhibition, ‘The Discipline of Subjectivity’ by Erwin Wurm. art4d spoke with the Austria-based artist who is best known for his ongoing One Minute Sculptures, a series of works which take on a new sense of duration in this exhibition, the artist’s first solo show in South East Asia.
