THINGS THEY’VE MADE – To celebrate the gallery’s 10th anniversary, international renowned Thai artist Rirkrit Tiravanija curates an exhibition featuring the works of all artists who have exhibited at 100 Tonson Gallery since its launch in 2003 including the likes of Wit Pimkanchanapong, Yayoi Kusama and Pinaree Sanpitak .
ICONIC PERSONALITIES – Swiss photographer Rene Burri has captured some of the world’s most iconic and historical personalities on film, from Le Corbusier to Pablo Picasso, his photographs take us on a journey through a series of breathtaking moments as stories play out before our eyes from behind his lens .
WHAT’S IN THE GARDEN? – CHAT architects takes on the task of turning an old architectural design office into Kenkoon’s new showroom in the heart of the Thonglor neighborhood. They also invite Thonglor visitors and residents to walk right in through connections built between inside and outside, garden and city, as well as furniture and branding.
WILD SCREEN – This house designed by ONG&ONG takes full advantage of the native tropical environment. In keeping with the client’s request, the architects provide the ideal balance between the needs for family bonding as well as personal space.
LIVING IN A HYPERCONNECTED WORLD – Architecture students from the Bartlett, London and the Faculty of Architecture, Chiang Mai joined together in a workshop that redesigned a fabricated set of architectural surfaces under the theme ‘Future Natural,’ a concept inspired by Anthony Giddens’ article, ‘Risk and Responsibility.’
