<p><span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: sarabun-regular; font-size: 12pt;">สิงคโปร์คือประเทศที่เลื่องชื่อจากการเป็นศูนย์กลางด้านการเงินอันดับต้นๆ ของโลก เป็นที่รวมตัวของบริษัทเทคโนโลยีล้ำหน้า แถมยังมีความระเบียบเรียบร้อยจนหลายๆ ประเทศอิจฉา แต่ดินแดนเกาะปลายคาบสมุทรมลายูไม่ได้มีดีเพียงแค่นี้ เพราะที่นี่ยังเป็นแหล่งรวมนักออกแบบที่เปี่ยมด้วยฝีมือและความคิดสร้างสรรค์อีกด้วย</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: sarabun-regular; font-size: 12pt;">Future Impact คือนิทรรศการที่ DesignSingapore Council (Dsg) หรือสภาการออกแบบสิงคโปร์ จัดขึ้นมาเพื่อเผยความสามารถและไอเดียอันสดใหม่ของนักออกแบบสิงคโปร์ให้ชาวโลกได้ชื่นชม นิทรรศการเชื้อเชิญ 6 ทีมนักออกแบบมากความสามารถ ได้แก่ Gabriel Tan, Nathan Yong, Studio Juju, Tiffany Loy, Viewport Studio และ Forest &amp; Whale มาสร้างผลงานใหม่ ภายใต้ธีม Future Impact ที่เสาะหาส่วนผสมอันลงตัวระหว่างความสุนทรีย์ และการผนวกนวัตกรรมเพื่อตอบโจทย์ความยั่งยืน หลังจากนิทรรศการเคยนำผลงานไปอวดโฉมให้ชาวโลกได้ดูในงาน Milan Design Week ในเดือนเมษายน 2023 ที่ผ่านมา คราวนี้ก็ถึงเวลานำผลงานกลับบ้านเกิดให้คนสิงคโปร์และคนในเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ได้ยล ในโอกาสเทศกาล Singapore Design Week 2023 ที่จัดขึ้นพอดี</span></p>

<p><span style="font-family: sarabun-regular; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">“นิทรรศการนี้เป็นแนวคิดริเริ่มจาก DesignSingapore Council ที่อยากสื่อสารความสามารถของนักออกแบบสิงคโปร์ให้คนได้รับรู้” </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Tony บอกเล่าแนวคิดและเบื้องหลังการทำนิทรรศการ “ผมและ Maria Cristina Didero คิวเรเตอร์ร่วมอีกท่านเลือกธีม Future Impact เพราะการมองไปยังเทคโนโลยีและอนาคตข้างหน้า และการตระหนักถึงผลกระทบที่เรามีต่อโลก คือสองสิ่งที่เกี่ยวเนื่องกับเป้าหมายและวิสัยทัศน์ของสิงคโปร์ ผมยังคิดว่ามันเป็นสองสิ่งที่ทุกคนกำลังพูดถึงในตอนนี้ โดยเฉพาะดีไซเนอร์ เรากำลังตั้งคำถามกันว่าจะรับมือกับเทคโนโลยีอย่างไร และจะใช้เทคโนโลยีอย่างไรให้มีประโยชน์กับสังคมมากที่สุด”</span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: sarabun-regular; font-size: 12pt;">Flower Power คือชื่อเรียกขบวนการเคลื่อนไหวช่วงทศวรรศ 1960s ถึง 70s ที่ผู้คนออกมาเรียกร้องถึงสันติภาพโดยใช้ดอกไม้เป็นสัญลักษณ์ของความสงบสุข Gabriel Tan นำแรงบันดาลใจจากการเคลื่อนไหวนี้ มาออกแบบดวงโคมตั้งพื้นหน้าตาคล้ายดอกไม้ที่ทอแสงแห่งความหวัง ผลงานตอกย้ำความเป็นมิตรสิ่งแวดล้อมด้วยการใช้วัสดุเหลือใช้ ขาตั้งโคมไฟทำจากไม้แอชเศษเหลือจากการผลิตเฟอร์นิเจอร์ ท่อตั้งโคมเป็นเหล็กรีไซเคิล ส่วนโป๊ะโคมไฟคือพลาสติกรีไซเคิลที่ขึ้นรูปด้วยเทคโนโลยี 3D Print</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400; font-family: sarabun-regular; font-size: 12pt;">Onyx หรือหินนิลดำ เป็นหินที่อ่อนแอและเปราะบางมากเมื่อเทียบกับหินหลายชนิด Nathan Yong นำหินชนิดนี้มาผ่านกระบวนการฝานแร่หินเป็นแผ่น จากนั้นก็นำมาประกอบติดกันเป็นประติมากรรมรูปทรงดึงดูดตา เทคโนโลยีการผลิตพิเศษที่ Yong ใช้ยังช่วยลดเศษขยะที่ระหว่างการสร้างผลงาน เป็นแนวทางใหม่ที่ช่วยรักษาทรัพยากรหินในการผลิต</span></p>
