CREATIVE TERRITORRIES

WHO
Creative Territories, an architecture and design agency that collaborates across multiple territories.

WHAT
Although currently we’re very much focusing on architecture, interior, urbanism and research-based projects, we’re very open to any territories of/for creativity.

WHEN
Founded in 2018.

WHERE
Bangkok and elsewhere

WHY
To seek creative potentials of each project through questions, team collaboration and process with the aim to improve built environment through design as the implementation of its collectivism rather than autocracy.

HOW WOULD YOU DEFINE CREATIVITY?
Not specific definition, but should serve a good will. We believe that creativity can be in any form or any scale or any opportunity. Principally, we do believe that creativity doesn’t need to be a result of one’s genius sketch but rather creations along with team discussion and collaboration process.

DESCRIBE YOUR PRACTICE IN THREE WORDS.
Open, Connect, Happy

WHERE DO YOU GO, OR WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU GET STUCK ON A PROJECT?
Talk to the team, change the subject or take a break.

WHAT PROJECT ARE YOU MOST PROUD OF?
We are proud of all the projects. Each has its own agenda and purpose so no need to pick one. To mention a few, a private residence in Srisaket and Zuru Japanese restaurant might be the origin of our journey in which we still maintain a good friendships with the client. An ASEAN Education Center for Human Help Network Foundation helps us learn about how architecture can be more than a building, space or form but a meaningful place for migrant children to have a better education. A private residence for Khun Dome Sittisiri who’s a film director is a good example on how architecture and interior reflect owner’s personality and can be humble.
