I create images by deconstructing and recombining ideas drawn from my memories captured on film, as well as from childhood experiences, everyday life, and imagination. For example, I transform the shapes of the sea, waves, and shoreline into fish swimming across the page, or I reimagine the colors of a sunset sky as a salmon swimming through the current.

As adults, we often forget to take the time to look up at the sky, and it is not always easy to find a moment to gaze at the ocean. Through my work, I try to evoke these shared experiences and moments of innocence, while also reflecting on the importance of nature that we must continue to cherish and protect.

Moving forward, I hope to keep creating memories through nature, using it as both my inspiration and material.
