‘MUSIC IS THE SPACE BETWEEN THE NOTES’
Art Thesis Exhibition, Master of Fine Arts (Visual arts)
by Warut Duangkaewkart
According to Duangkaewkart’s MA Thesis in visual art, ‘A Space of Relations Between Humans, Architecture and the Environment’ is a project about searching for aesthetic experiences in daily life, where we live. This project includes a series of works considering: indoor space, outdoor space and natural space.
From an architectural background, we’re living in a building or architecture that controls our daily being. In order to manage us into the system of being in space, some architectures help us to gain a better life, but most are nothing more than just a concrete wall that blocks us from nature. We can’t change the space or the architectural elements at all, but we can change our perceptions that allow for us to find new experiences, and also create instances of aesthetics through the use of our surrounding environment.
