A sci-fi short film by London-based designer, Keiichi Matsuda, is a disturbing simulation of the working environment of the future, telling its story from the point of view of an office lady whose desk contains a modern-looking interface hailed from the combined technologies in the real world and augmented reality enabled by varying software and digital tools.
The film’s 360-degree screening format allows viewers to slide the screen and see the world of information surrounding the protagonist. Superficially, the AI appears to serve well as a tool that brings greater working convenience for the OL. But once the workload intensifies, she begins to realize that she is being trapped in the world of augmented reality and the only way to get the task done on time is to ‘merge’ herself to the system.

นิทรรศการเนื่องในโอกาสครบรอบ 150 ปีของภาควิชาสถาปัตยกรรมสถาบัน MIT โดยความร่วมมือกันระหว่าง MIT Museum และภาควิชาสถาปัตยกรรม ซึ่งเป็นแหล่งการสอนวิชาสถาปัตยกรรมที่เก่าแก่ที่สุดในสหรัฐอเมริกา
นิทรรศการได้รับการออกแบบทั้งหมดเป็น 5 ธีม ประกอบไปด้วย สตูดิโอ พร็อกซี่ การวิจัย สหวิทยากร และอนาคต ทั้งหมดนี้เน้นไปที่ผลงานของนักเรียนและคณาจารย์ในหลักสูตรประวัติศาสตร์ของภาควิชา ภายใต้วัตถุประสงค์หลักของนิทรรศการที่ต้องการแสดงให้เห็นว่าภาควิชามีนวัตกรรมอย่างต่อเนื่องในการสอน เพื่อเตรียมนักเรียนให้พร้อมสำหรับการออกแบบในโลกที่กำลังเปลี่ยนแปลงไปอย่างรวดเร็ว สำหรับไฮไลท์ภายในนิทรรศการเป็นการเปิดกรุจัดแสดงผลงานศิษย์เก่าที่มีชื่อเสียงอย่าง Robert R. Taylor, I.M. Pei และ Charles Correa ที่พวกเขาได้ทำขึ้นในขณะเป็นนักเรียนที่สถาบัน

This exhibition celebrates the 150-year anniversary of MIT Department of Architecture as a collaboration between MIT Museum and the Department of Architecture, the oldest architectural program in the United States.
Curated into 5 themes: Studio, Proxy, Research, Multidiscipline and Future, the exhibition focuses entirely on the works of students and professors from the department’s History program with the main objective being to showcase the faculty’s consistent and innovative educational contributions designed and developed to prepare students for the rapidly changing world. The exhibition’s highlight features a showcasing of the works that the department’s reputable alumni such as Robert R. Taylor, I.M. Pei and Charles Correa created during their student years.

หน่วยวางแผนพัฒนา (Development Planning Unit) ประจำมหาวิทยาลัย Bartlett กำลังเปิดรับสมัครโครงการทุนการศึกษาระดับปริญญาเอกจำนวนหนึ่งทุน โดยครั้งนี้นับเป็นปีที่ห้าแล้ว ที่โครงการจะมอบทุนการศึกษาครอบคลุมค่าเล่าเรียนเต็มเวลาสามปี รวมไปถึงทุนในการทำวิจัยภาคสนามให้กับผู้ผ่านการคัดเลือก โครงการจะปิดรับสมัครในวันที่ 12 เมษายน 2562 นี้

The Development Planning Unit of Bartlett University is offering one Doctoral scholarship. Continuing for 5 consecutive years, the project gives a full paid grant, which covers a full 3-years of tuition and field research expenses for the selected candidate. The cultivation of and network building for young artists, Early Years Project, is currently open for entries from Thai artists to participate in the presentation and development of their projects. Towards the end of the project, the works of two artists selected from the exhibition will be granted one artist residency offer and one source of mobility funding.
