WHY
Textile design is the process of planning, creating and producing an artwork which involves with materials, surface patterns and structures. In a field of textile art and design, it has several aspects and areas that we are able to study and work, but it is required an enormous number of patience and understanding with delicate technique informations. Moreover, I think a designer or design studio who works in the area of creative woven textile is still an exclusive area in Thailand.
HOW WOULD YOU DEFINE CREATIVITY?
A creativity is to explore, discover and create the extraordinary out of the ordinary.
DESCRIBE YOUR PRACTICE IN THREE WORDS
Sophisticate Technique I Craftsmanship in the thinking process I Reinterpret
WHERE DO YOU GO, OR WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU GET STUCK ON A PROJECT?
I do pause the project for a while and switch to make something else by hand without thinking anything.
WHAT PROJECT ARE YOU MOST PROUD OF?
I personally proud of every project that I have done so far. Each project has a different challenge that make me learning and trying something new. If I had to choose, my first installation art “Impermanence of Thing” is the one. It is my master’s thesis in Aalto University, School of Arts, Design and Architecture, Helsinki, Finland.
IF YOU COULD INVITE ANY CREATIVE OUT FOR COFFEE, WHO WOULD YOU CHOOSE AND WHY?
Olarfur Eliasson would be my ideal guest. He is an adored artist, architect and design phenom who creates immersive art space and experiences. I would love to know his interests if he needs to create an artwork or play around in a textile field.
