WHEN

PH/AD was established after we spent a considerable amount of time working in design firms and real estate development companies. This experience allowed us to crystallize the essence of PH/AD’s design philosophy. The firm began accepting design projects and formally established our office around the year 2020.

WHY

We firmly believe that architecture can significantly enhance people’s quality of life. Therefore, the focus has always been on thoroughly analyzing and seamlessly blending both the surrounding context and the client’s requirements to craft an architectural language that meets the needs of those who inhabit or use the spaces.

How would you describe your work?

The work produced by PH/AD does not adhere to a fixed style or genre. The emphasis is on materializing the client’s requirements with contextual elements to create an architectural language that harmoniously reflects both the environment and the identity of the building owners.

What is your inspiration and guiding principle for each creation?

Every project is an inspiration, as each presents unique challenges and requirements.

What project are you most proud of?

It’s difficult to single out one project, as we, the team at PH/AD cherish and take pride in every endeavor. More importantly, we value the smiles and joy of the people who experience the spaces we’ve created.

Which stage of the design process do you like the most?

We personally genuinely enjoy every phase of the work process (laughs). We believe that creating a work of architecture is like bringing a child into the world; it requires care from conception (receiving the brief) until maturation (completion of construction).

If you could invite a ‘creative’ to coffee, who would you invite and why?

Honestly, there are many individuals we’d love to have a conversation with (laughs). However, if we had to choose, it would be Nake – Kathsepsawad Palakawong na Ayuthaya. As a host who has interacted with a diverse array of people, he could offer us profound and varied perspectives.
