WHO
The Space Teller who shares stories about people, function, material and style.
WHAT
Architectural design studio by the talkative architects.
WHEN
We established the studio since 2017, but have been designing for 21 years.
WHERE
We’re based in Bangkok, but we accept projects from all around the world.
WHY
After gaining experience in firms of all sizes, both locally and internationally, I reached a point where I felt the need to tell architectural stories in my own way. I wanted to create designs that reflected my personal approach and values. So, I teamed up with like-minded individuals who shared this vision, and together we founded our own studio.
How do you define your own style of work?
We have no style at all. You can see from the built project, the only process that we can borrow from AI vocabulary is ‘Speech to Architecture.’ We essentially tell the stories of users and stakeholders through function, space, materials, and architectural styles.
What inspires you and what principles do you apply to each project?
The inspiration behind the design comes primarily from deep conversations with the owners and users of the projects. As architects, we listen closely and translate these stories and needs into tangible architectural solutions. The design principle is to create architecture that not only serves its immediate users but also enhances the lives of everyone around it, as well as the community and society at large.
Which project are you most proud of and why?
My own project (Not Yet). | We would like to make every owner proud of their own project.
Which part of the process do you enjoy the most during work?
Starting & The End | Starting with the inspiration from the owner’s story, moving onto the potential of the location, and combining the creative ideas & realization of the story through architecture
If you could invite any ‘creative’ for a coffee, who would it be and why?
I would like to invite Christopher Nolan. He has his own storytelling method, which is my favorite, especially in ‘Memento’. I adapted it to our studio concept, having one core to design good architecture while sticking to an ‘Open Mind’ since every project starts with a new story.
