WHERE DO YOU GO, OR WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU GET STUCK ON A PROJECT?
Go out running or driving to places of nowhere. Popping in some chic cafes where I’ve never visited and sink in good reads that are not relevant to works. Pretending works are off my mind, then the idea will show up later.
WHAT PROJECT ARE YOU MOST PROUD OF?
There is no particular project I’m proud of. All projects are practice pieces we employ design as a tool to understand architectural aesthetic, human psychological mind, and nature forces. No personal feelings or subjective views attached to each project.
IF YOU COULD INVITE ANY CREATIVE OUT FOR COFFEE, WHO WOULD YOU CHOOSE AND WHY?
Personally enjoy drinking coffee without any companions and prefer to enjoy the moment alone with a good book. However, Thawan Duchanee could be my guest if coffee was his favourite drink. I was inspired by his Baandam Museum and touched by the energetic vibes of his creation. No other architectures or any design figures including those who design the palace blueprint in China or other mysterious ancient buildings could be compared. I would prefer to study their works and spend time to comprehend the depth of their concept as well as the abstract wisdom associated with their design.
