WHO
We are a team of architects and interior designers from Be Workshop. We believe in collaboration as a way to shape a better built environment through architecture that is simple yet powerful, and through genuine attentiveness to how users experience space.
WHAT
Our work spans both architectural and interior design, from private residences and restaurants to hotels and renovation projects. Each space is shaped to reflect the values and identities of the people who use it. Our approach is deliberately simple, yet rich in detail, allowing the character of the occupants to come through.

WHEN
Be Workshop was founded in 2010 and has continued to grow through a wide range of projects, both in Bangkok and across other regions of Thailand.
WHERE
Based in Bangkok, we welcome projects from anywhere and in any context. We believe that every location holds the potential to tell its own story through design.
WHY
We believe that ‘architecture forms the foundation of lived experience.’ Good design should elevate quality of life, not merely serve aesthetic ends, but should cultivate a sense of well-being and a positive relationship with the world in everyday life.

How do you define your own style of work?
We describe our work as ‘human-centric simplicity.’ It is simplicity shaped by intention. Attentive to detail without excess, yet open enough to allow users to define their own narratives within a space.
What inspires you and what principles do you apply to each project?
We always begin with the user and the context. We ask how a space should make people feel, and what role it should play in everyday life. These considerations naturally guide function and aesthetics to evolve together.

Which project are you most proud of and why?
We take pride in every project, but one that holds particular significance is Bangna Residence, completed in 2025.
Drawing on more than 20 years of experience in residential design, this house reflects the homeowner’s identity with clarity and honesty. It embodies our belief that good design is not about showcasing the designer, but about allowing users to truly ‘see themselves’ within a space.

Bangna Residence
We treated voids as an essential component of the house, from the front garden and central courtyard to the pocket spaces at the rear. These elements allow every room to benefit from openness, natural light, ventilation, and greenery. The exterior is defined by a restrained, solid palette, combined with light steel elements such as exposed structural beams and a permeable steel façade. While the building appears solid from the outside, the façade balances privacy while framing beautiful interior views.

Which part of the process do you enjoy the most during work?
We enjoy the phase of exploring and interpreting the brief. It is the moment when the client, the context, and creative thinking begin to converge, gradually forming a concept that feels intuitively right to everyone involved.
If you could invite any ‘creative’ for a coffee, who would it be and why?
We would choose Tadao Ando. His ability to convey profound emotion through simplicity is unparalleled. We are deeply interested in how he understands the ‘relationship between people and space,’ especially in a world that is changing ever more rapidly.
