At Art Jakarta 2026, alongside a strong presence of host galleries from Indonesia, what elevates Art Jakarta onto the international stage is the active collaboration and participation of galleries from across Southeast Asia. This year, Thailand is proudly represented by two distinguished galleries.
Warin Lab Contemporary (Booth A19)
Long celebrated for its environmental focus, Warin Lab Contemporary continues to reinforce its commitment to using art as a voice for ecological awareness and sustainability. For this edition, the gallery presents works that delve into the complex relationship between humanity and nature, waste management, and the impacts of climate change through thought-provoking, mixed-media creations. These artworks reflect local environmental issues while bridging them to global crises, inviting audiences from all backgrounds to engage and contemplate together.
This year, Warin Lab Contemporary brings an impressive lineup of talented artists: Ari Bayuaji, renowned for transforming plastic waste into textile art alongside Balinese artisans; a special collaborative project titled ‘Mutation’ by sustainable fiber artist Jarupatcha Achavasmit and leading Thai contemporary artist Sakarin Krue-on; Kanokwan Sutthang, whose delicate works explore nature and small flora; and Indonesian artist Maharani Mancanagara, who narrates complex socio-political histories through mixed-media on wood.

Gallery CURU (Booth B11)
Originally originating from Japan, Gallery CURU has expanded its artistic footprint by launching a space in Bangkok’s creative district, Warehouse 30 on Charoenkrung Road. The gallery serves as a bridge connecting contemporary art and pop culture across Japan, Thailand, and the international scene.
Gallery CURU stands as another Thailand-based gallery adding vibrancy to this year’s fair. Having spent months in meticulous preparation, the gallery is excited to present a diverse range of styles from leading international artists to Jakarta’s art community. The lineup features Akitoshi Akamatsu, Kang Suhee, Keito Tokoi, Kohei Yamada, Kolahon, Maho Takahashi, Muu Nanahoshi, Tenga One, and Yuta Okuda. Marking a wonderful opportunity to share the stage with premier galleries from across Asia.

Art Jakarta 2026 will take place from October 2–4 at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, Indonesia.
