ครั้งแรกของกิจกรรมสัมมนาสถาปัตยกรรม 4 สาขา ACT TALK โดยสภาสถาปนิก ในหัวข้อ ‘ARCHITECT : S/M/L/XL One size doesn’t fit all : เล็กก็ใช่ ใหญ่ก็ชอบ’ ที่จะเชิญชวนสถาปนิก 4 รุ่น จาก 4 บริษัท ได้แก่ นิธิ สถาปิตานน์ จาก Architects 49, สมชาย จงแสง จาก DECA Atelier, จีรเวช หงสกุล จาก IDIN Architects และ ประพันธ์นภาวงศ์ดี จาก Shma / Shma SoEn มาร่วมแชร์ประสบกาณ์การทำงานและแนวคิดในการปฏิบัติวิชาชีพสถาปัตยกรรมให้กับสมาชิก นิสิตนักศึกษา และบุคคลทั่วไปที่สนใจ โดย ACT TALK ครั้งที่ 1 จะจัดขึ้นในวันที่ 21 กรกฎาคม 2562 นี้ เวลา 13.30-15.30 น. ที่ห้องประชุมชั้น 3 อาคารสภาสถาปนิก (ปิดลงทะเบียนวันเสาร์นี้) ติดตามรายละเอียดเพิ่มเติมของกิจกรรม ACT TALK ในครั้งต่อไปได้ทาง สภาสถาปนิก

The inaugural seminar of the ACT TALK series hosted by the Architect Council of Thailand (ACT) under the topic ‘ARCHITECTS : S/M/L/XL One size doesn’t fit all’ will invite four generations of architects from four architecture firms—including Nithi Sthapitanonda of Architects 49, Somchai Jongsaeng of DECA Atelier, Jeravej Hongsakul of IDIN Architects, and Prapan Napawongdee of Shma and Shma SoEn—to share their working experiences and design philosophy behind their architectural practice. ACT TALK #1 will be held on this coming Sunday, 21 July 2019 between 1.30 PM and 3.30 PM at the 3rd Floor’s Meeting Room, Architect Council of Thailand Building. THE SHELLWORKS
The Shellworks เป็นโปรเจ็คต์ทดลองการออกแบบบรรจุภัณฑ์โดยกลุ่มนักศึกษาวิศวกรรมนวัตกรรมการออกแบบ จาก Royal College of Art และ Imperial College London ที่ตั้งใจจะพัฒนากระบวนการผลิตรูปแบบใหม่ในการผลิตพลาสติกชีวภาพ (bioplastic) จากเศษอาหารเหลือทิ้งอย่างเปลือกกุ้งล็อบเสตอร์ ซึ่งสามารถย่อยสลายได้ด้วยจุลินทรีย์ธรรมชาติ (biodegradable) เพื่อทดแทนการใช้พลาสติกแบบใช้ครั้งเดียวทิ้ง อ่านได้ ที่นี่
The Shellworks is an experimental packaging design project led by a group of Innovation Design Engineering students from The Imperial College London and The Royal College of Art. Their intention is to develop a new manufacturing process for bioplastics, using biodegradable waste lobster shells as a replacement for single-use plastic materials. Read here.

การเกิดขึ้นของโปรเจ็คต์ Boost เป็นตัวอย่างที่น่าสนใจในการ “เล่นให้เป็นเรื่อง” เรื่องทั้งหมดเริ่มต้นขึ้นจากความรู้สึกว่า เราควรจะมีสถานที่ในการทำทีมรถแข่งแบบจริงจัง สถานที่ที่จะสามารถติดตั้ง ‘Dyno Test’ และรองรับกิจกรรมอื่นๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้องอย่างครบครัน เรื่องราวที่เหมือนจะเป็นความสุขส่วนตัวและคิดกันเล่นๆ ได้กลายเป็นจริง โดยทั้งหมดถูกรวมอยู่ในศูนย์ฟิตเนสครบวงจรริมถนนใกล้ปากซอยรามคำแหง 100 ซึ่งเริ่มเปิดให้บริการแล้วตั้งแต่ต้นปีที่ผ่านมา อ่านได้ ที่นี่
The birth of Boost Fitness Bkk is an interesting example of ‘playing productively.’ The whole story begins with the idea of creating a space where a serious racing team can be professionally developed and supported; a place with an actual ‘Dyno Test’ and to provide comprehensive and high standard car care services. All the ideas that were once talked about and dreamt amongst friends were made into reality. All are provided in the comprehensive fitness center located on Soi Ramkhamhaeng 100, launched in early 2019. Read here.
