WHO

YL Studio. We’re an interior architecture design studio based in Bangkok.

WHAT

Our team focuses on two types of design work: restaurant design and corporate design.

WHEN

Established in 2013, we initially embarked on diverse design projects and have gradually evolved to focus on the two aforementioned genres.

The projects we have undertaken have touched the lives of people in various provinces across Thailand.

WHY

If our designs can help improve the quality of life for others or contribute to the success of any project, we will continue to do it.

How would you describe your work?

We don’t confine ourselves to a specific style or approach. We strive to understand and meet the needs of our clients or projects as much as possible and are always mindful of time and budget constraints.

What is your inspiration and guiding principle for each creation?

Witnessing people engage with, experience, or connect with the spaces we’ve meticulously created is exhilarating and brings such invigorating energy to the team

What project are you most proud of?

While there are many projects we appreciate and take pride in, one that stands out from our recent work is Bricks & Barrels in Pattaya. Despite numerous surprises during the initial stages of demolition and renovation, the end result was very satisfying.

Which stage of the design process do you like the most?

Our favorite stage is the development phase, from the concept design presented to the client. It’s the stage that leads to the actualization of real space and scale.

If you could invite a ‘creative’ to coffee, who would you invite and why?

We would love to brew a cup of pour-over coffee for the late Zaha Hadid and invite her for a stroll along the Chao Phraya River. It would have been nice to be able to get to know her more and get a better glimpse of the vitality behind her creative works.
