WHO

Studio.peace is a small studio founded by two architects, Chayapol and Sireethorn, who possess diverse skills but share a common goal.

WHAT

We are an architectural and interior design studio focused on proportions, balance, user needs, and experiences. We plan to expand into furniture design in the future, believing that it seamlessly integrates with architecture.

WHEN

The inception of Studio.peace traces back to some small design projects that we (Chayapol and Sireethorn) worked on together since 2021, but it was in 2023 when things started to really take shape.

WHERE

Our studio is located in the Rama 9 area of Bangkok.

WHY

Although we have different skills and preferences, we share a passion for working when we are able to work with various styles and have fun tackling each project’s new challenges. This allows us to learn and gain new experiences together, which is reflected in the unique style of each of our projects.

How would you describe your work?

As mentioned earlier, our style is defined by the diversity of contexts and experiences.

What is your inspiration and guiding principle for each creation?

It is the satisfaction and appreciation our clients have for our work, which signifies our ability to solve their problems effectively. It feels like we are continuously leveling up and improving.

What project are you most proud of?

Actually, every project, because, as mentioned, our studio’s work is quite diverse. We do extensive research for each type of project, and when it starts to come together, it makes us proud.

Which stage of the design process do you like the most?

There are two main parts we enjoy: the first is when we have discussions with clients because we can transform what is in our minds into tangible forms; the second is the construction phase, as it brings the plans on paper to real-life construction, making the vision even clearer.

If you could invite a ‘creative’ to coffee, who would you invite and why?

I would invite Udom Taephanich (Nose), a prominent figure in stand-up comedy and the art world. We admire his work not just in comedy, but also his artistic endeavors. Udom’s life is intriguing, and his experiences are vividly reflected in his diverse creations. A genuine conversation with him would undoubtedly lead to many fascinating questions.
