NIPPON PAINT CONTINUES BMA’S POLICY TO ENHANCE THE LIVABILITY OF BANGKOK CONTRIBUTES 10 MILLION BAHT WORTH OF THE PAINT TO RENOVATE OVER 300 BRIDGES ACROSS BANGKOK

Nippon Paint, Asia’s No.1 paint manufacturer and distributor and the fourth largest globally, is committed to developing innovative building paints based on true consumer needs. Recognizing the importance of social and environmental responsibility, the company is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life and making communities more livable.

As part of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA)’s cityscape improvement project under the volunteer activity ‘We Do Good with Our Hearts,’ Nippon Paint is renovating over 300 dilapidated bridges throughout Bangkok. These include vehicle overpasses, pedestrian bridges, canal bridges, and walkway railings. This initiative not only beautifies and organizes the urban landscape, making it safer and more pleasant for everyone, but it also aligns with the brand’s core values.

Providing high-quality and innovative paints that total value of the contribution is 10 million baht for the renovation of all bridges, including Nippon Paint Weatherbond, the exterior paint, which offers beauty and durability in all weather conditions, and Nippon Paint Bodelac, the enamel paint, which adheres excellently and resists weather, rust, mold, and fungi. The total value of the contribution is 10 million baht for the renovation of all bridges, ensuring they are beautiful, safe, and long-lasting, this cooperation aims to build widespread change by improving the city’s aesthetics and safety through the unique qualities of the paints, enhancing the quality of life and well-being of residents, fostering a healthy and happy community, and promoting sustainable growth together. These values are among Nippon Paint’s key missions.

Additionally, Nippon Paint plans to support various other social activities, such as improving the landscapes of other locations, assisting nearby communities, and even contributing to education. We have several projects lined up with the BMA aimed at improving the city’s aesthetics to make Bangkok a more livable city for everyone.
