For architects, designers, and project developers who actively seek out material innovations that advance environmental sustainability and offer creative solutions through adaptive use, this year’s Architect’25 promises a compelling showcase. Among the standouts is the Shinkolite booth. This leading Japanese acrylic brand, renowned for its low-carbon production methods, has partnered with SCG Chemicals and Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation to introduce a series of innovations under the concept ‘Transparent Living’, inviting visitors to directly interact with materials that reimagine the boundaries of design.
The booth’s design this year is enriched by the involvement of acclaimed interior design studios THORR’s and Matilda, who have curated furniture selections and spatial layouts, complemented by a lush garden atmosphere crafted by landscape architects Jinda Garden. Together, they present an immersive spatial prototype that explores the full architectural potential of acrylic. From façades and roofs to louvers, the booth demonstrates how acrylic can be integrated across diverse applications—offering not only thermal insulation benefits but also enhanced durability than conventional glass.
Visitors will also be among the first to experience Shinkolite’s latest product launches, including a new series of translucent awnings, the Heat Cut roofing line, and a selection of newly developed colored acrylic louvers. These innovations are displayed in an interactive format that encourages tactile exploration—allowing visitors to move beyond merely observing flat acrylic panels and instead discover a wide spectrum of aesthetic and functional possibilities. It is an invitation to imagine how acrylic might be seamlessly woven into contemporary design practice, responding to the needs of a new generation that values sustainability, lifestyle integration, and social responsibility.
The Shinkolite booth (S311, SCG Zone) will be featured at Architect’25 from April 29 to May 4, 2025, at Challenger Halls 1–3, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
