เพราะทุกวันนี้ ห้องน้ำไม่ได้เป็นเพียงพื้นที่สำหรับการชำระล้างร่างกาย แต่ยังเปรียบเสมือนโอเอซิสที่เราจะมีโอกาสได้ใช้เวลาสั้นๆ อยู่กับตัวเองท่ามกลางบรรยากาศอันเงียบสงบและผ่อนคลาย แน่นอนว่าการเลือกกระเบื้อง สุขภัณฑ์ อ่างอาบน้ำ หรือก๊อกน้ำ เพื่อใช้งานและตกแต่งภายในพื้นที่แห่งนี้ มีความสำคัญไม่ต่างไปจากสเปซหลักอื่นๆ เพราะนอกจากคุณสมบัติในแง่ความทนทาน ความเหมาะสมกับรูปแบบการดีไซน์และขนาดพื้นที่ รวมทั้งต้องตอบสนองด้านฟังก์ชั่นและความต้องการเฉพาะตัวแล้ว ในแง่ของการดีไซน์เองก็ต้องมีเอกลักษณ์และสวยงามคลาสสิกซึ่งเป็นอีกคุณสมบัติที่ผู้ใช้งานต่างฝันถึง
Atrio Series ไอคอนคอลเล็คชั่นจาก GROHE ไลน์นี้คือตัวอย่างที่ดีของสิ่งที่กล่าวมาข้างต้น ที่ทีมออกแบบหยิบเอาไลน์ดังกล่าวมารีดีไซน์ขึ้นใหม่และเปิดตัวไปในงาน Milan Furniture Fair เมื่อเดือนเมษายน ปี 2018 Atrio Series เวอร์ชั่นนี้ยังคงเอกลักษณ์ของต้นแบบ ทั้งความโค้งเว้าและฟอร์มทรงกระบอก โดยทีมออกแบบได้ลดทอนความฟุ่มเฟือยต่างๆ จนเหลือเพียงเส้นสายที่เรียบง่าย แต่เฉียบคม ขณะเดียวกันก็ยังให้ความสำคัญไปกับรายละเอียด โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งสัดส่วนทรงกระบอกในทุกๆ ดีเทล ทั้งโครง ตัวเชื่อมต่อ และหัวก๊อก ให้สัมพันธ์ซึ่งกันและกัน อีกทั้งยังเพรียวบางกว่าเดิม
นอกจากนี้ ยังมีการดีไซน์มือจับตามหลักการยศาสตร์ให้เชื่อมโยงไปกับสัดส่วนของผู้ใช้ หัวก๊อกที่แยกน้ำร้อนและน้ำเย็นสามารถปรับอุณหภูมิได้ตามต้องการ รวมทั้งการพัฒนาฟังก์ชั่นการเปิดและปิดให้มีระนาบสายน้ำที่สวยงาม นุ่มนวล และสม่ำเสมอ

With restrooms evolving into something far more than just a space for one’s personal hygiene activities, the function has become that of a private oasis in which one spends a brief period of time with him or herself, in peace, undisturbed, rested and relaxed. And just like other main functional areas, the decoration of the particular space should see the use of meticulously selected materials whether it be the tile, sanitaryware, washbasin or faucet. In addition to durability, the design of these materials must not only correspond to the aesthetics and physical size of the space as well as its specific functionalities, but also posses its own uniqueness and the classic beauty that everyone dreams of.
Atrio Series, GROHE’s iconic collection, is the manifestation of the aforementioned qualities. Debuted at Milan Furniture Fair in April of 2018, GROHE’s design team redesigns the product line by preserving the original design’s idiosyncratic curved lines and cylindrical form whereas all the excessive elements are simplified. The final result is the design of the faucet whose simple yet sleek silhouettes bespeak classic stylishness. Important details are not overlooked but treated with great attentiveness such as the cylindrical part’s proportions, structure and joinery including the faucet’s handle. Everything is thoughtfully realized to evoke a harmonized presence and be slimmer in form.
The design of the handle follows the ergonomic principles that physically relate to the human body’s proportions. Two separate handles for hot and cold water help control the water temperature more efficiently and are designed to operate seamlessly with smooth and consistent water volume and pressure.
Not only does Atrio Series reflect the combined qualities of modern aesthetics and comprehensive functionalities, but the physical form of the series also possesses its very own artistic identity. Atrio Series unifies the elements of luxury to the simplicity of geometric forms and distinctively defined clean lines, making it a perfect composition for a vast array of decorative styles.
