WHO

We’re Studio Minimus. We provide architectural and interior design services.

WHAT

Our conviction and passion lie in simplicity, timelessness, universality, and contemporary art. The spaces we create are infused with a sense of humility.  There is no specific style or identity we adhere to, but users can express themselves through a design we create.

WHEN

The studio was established in 2018, and we recently became a registered company in 2023.

WHY

We have a deep love and passion for contributing to and benefiting from the world through architectural design.

How would you describe your work?

We have a keen interest in a diverse array of styles. Our work is defined stylistically as contemporary design, closely related to contemporary art.

What is your inspiration and guiding principle for each creation?

We draw inspiration from the dreams of our clients, as they share their vivid imaginations and visions with us. At our studio, we prioritize working closely with our clients. We actively encourage clients to participate and share their thoughts and input, fostering two-way communication. A crucial aspect of our communication is the use of ‘images’ to ensure effective understanding of our clients’ demands.

What project are you most proud of?

We’re proud of everything we’ve done because we really put our mind and effort into each project that we do. But if we had to choose one, it would probably be BoysnBuns. It’s located in Nakhon Pathom province, and it’s quite special because the client wanted to create an art space, which is something we’ve always been very interested in doing.

What aspect of the relationship between mass and void do you like the most?

I like the kind of relationship that enables natural light to create meanings in many different contexts that extend beyond a mass and a void, such as works by Tadao Ando, Louis Kahn, or James Turrell’s art pieces.

Which stage of the design process do you like the most?

The initial conversations we have with our clients are truly special. It’s a time when they open up about their aspirations and imaginations, and we engage in a meaningful exchange of ideas regarding our studio’s design approach and how we can assist them in turning their dreams into reality.
