MITI Dental Clinic, also known as MITI Dental Wellness Clinic, was designed by the creative minds at Stu/D/O Architects. Nestled on Soi Sukhumvit 50, this four-story building spans 810 square meters. It eschews the conventional claustrophobic setup of a four-walled white structure, opting instead for an ethos of openness and light designed to soothe and calm its clientele.
The architect decides to split the building’s exterior mass into two coherent yet distinct parts. On one side, a wooden grid structure intertwined with verdant spaces not only bridges the gap between built form and nature but also welcomes visitors into the entrance hall backed by a generous garden. Visitors can also turn and walk into the entryway that flows seamlessly into an interior zone dedicated to consultations and several clearly segmented examination rooms. The reception and waiting areas are designed to make the waiting experience as comfortable as entering a self-care process, rather than merely receiving treatment for ailments. This aligns with MITI Dental Clinic’s emphasis on regular, preventive dental care.
The clinic’s comprehensive service spectrum includes Orthodontics & Pediatric Dentistry, General & Cosmetic Dentistry, Prosthetics & Dental Implant, as well as Endodontics. The facility also houses an X-ray room, a sterile space, and ample storage, all enveloped by a façade that plays architecturally with the randomness of dental motifs by simplifying the curves of teeth into playful light-filtering details.
MITI Dental Clinic is boldly redefining the conventional dental experience, transforming from an enclosed space to one that embraces the outdoors with expansive green areas and a lighting strategy that harnesses natural light to foster a soft, welcoming indoor ambiance. This architectural openness optimizes ventilation and effortlessly frames captivating views.
This thoughtful approach mentioned earlier extends beyond areas designated for patients, permeating spaces used by dentists and staff as well. Notably, the staff lounge on the third floor opens onto the rooftop garden, and a distinctively designed floating meeting room is accessible via both internal and external staircases. Anchored in the clinic’s ‘Comfort First’ philosophy, these tranquil garden spaces are pivotal in creating a nurturing and efficacious healing environment, supported by the latest equipment in dental technology.
Situated in Ari Rak Alley on Soi Sukhumvit 50, along Sukhumvit Road, the clinic is easily accessible by BTS, with the nearest stop at On Nut Station. It operates from 10:30 AM to 8:00 PM on weekdays, with adjustments to 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Saturdays and 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Sundays.
