In the modern architectural landscape, we are moving beyond the era where ‘technology’ and ‘sustainability’ were parallel lines toward a complete integration into a single, unified tool. Marking its 25th anniversary by the Malaysian Institute of Architects (PAM), ARCHIDEX 2026 serves as a medium under the theme ‘The Bold Future.’ This platform aims to provide essential tools that challenge architects and developers to confront future demands through the interpretation of cutting-edge innovations, driven by the belief that if you don’t act to change the world today, the world will inevitably change you tomorrow.

ARCHIDEX 2026 creates a visionary blueprint of the design ecosystem through 3 strategic highlights, specifically curated to reshape perspectives and empower every visitor:

  • Digital x ARCHIDEX: Explore the ‘Digital Frontier’ – from BIM and AI-driven Design to Proptech – essential tools driving the smart city evolution under the Ekonomi MADANI policy.
  • The New Era of Living & Hospitality: Dive into façade innovations and energy-efficient glazing through the AHA and FENESTEX projects – where aesthetic brilliance meets tangible performance.
  • World of Works (WoW): A simulation of the modern workspace, demonstrating the seamless integration of technology, materials, and occupant well-being

These innovations extend far beyond the exhibition halls, transforming Kuala Lumpur into a ‘Living Lab.’ Through the KL Architecture Week (KLAW), design and community converge in a series of architectural showcases and art installations. Visitors are invited to rediscover the city’s charm – from the historic heritage districts to the futuristic skyline anchored by Merdeka 118. Here, architecture is more than just buildings; it is a core experience of Visit Malaysia 2026 (VM2026)

Furthermore, the event is packed with trend updates and global business opportunities. Highlights include the DATUM Conferences, featuring regional architectural thought leaders, the Biz Talks seminars, and the ARCHIDEX Star Awards, which celebrate excellence in product innovation.

For its grand return, ARCHIDEX 2026 has consolidated its entire exhibition space into a single premier location at MITEC (Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre) from 29 July to 1 August 2026 to ensure the most seamless visitor experience yet
