WHO
We are virtual media creators with a knack for creating 3D media. Our team, comprised of architects and 3D artists, possesses expertise and a deep understanding of both architectural design and the creation of 3D media.
WHAT
Our work is about conveying messages through virtual media, including graphics, imagery, and 3D visuals, AR, or VR. We believe that a good narrative is not confined to any one technique or medium.
WHEN
We have been working in the field of 3D Visuals for over 5 years and have discussed the trends and developing technologies, leading us to collectively establish Light Roast in 2023.
WHERE
The Light Roast office is located in Bangkok.
WHY
We believe that creating a piece of media does not end with just producing beautiful images. Finding different and interesting ways to present it or choosing to use new techniques or media adds value to each work and enhances its communicative power.
How would you describe your work?
Come talk to us, and we will create works that best meet your needs.
What is your inspiration and guiding principle for each creation?
We aim to introduce the architectural industry to new dimensions in new formats of media.
What project are you most proud of?
It was a project where we collaborated with The Contextual to produce content on the TikTok platform for AP (Thailand). It was a project with a fun process where we got to devise different working methods that we had never done before. After its publication, it was well-received, garnering over 20 million views throughout the duration of the project.
Which stage of the design process do you like the most?
For our team, brainstorming and finding solutions that meet the needs of each project is a crucial step. This phase defines the communicative direction of the work from start to finish.
If you could invite a ‘creative’ to coffee, who would you invite and why?
James Hoffmann. James is a British YouTuber and the 2007 World Barista Championship winner. What’s interesting about James is his ability to communicate the story of making and enjoying coffee by integrating science, concepts, and principles from his personal experiences into the content in such engaging ways.
The discussion would undoubtedly cover coffee-making techniques, but I’d also like to discuss his inspirations, thought processes, and how he simplifies complex stories in his own unique style.
