For many, reading books is a gateway to learning. But what would it be like if we were able to learn things by having real conversations with humans?
Human Library is an Architect Expo ’23 activity that invites everyone to meet, talk, and exchange ideas in an actual physical space with the authors—the human libraries—who will be sharing their stories and experiences as well as insights on issues whose realities are often misconstrued by judgments and preconceived notions.
Prepare to meet the “humans” of the ASA 2023 Human Library from various fields and practices: architecture (Amata Luphaiboon, the founder of the Department of Architecture, and Chatpong Chuenrudeemol, the founder of CHAT architects), interior design (Badintra Balankura, designer from Context Studio, and Pruitsatorn Sakulthai, designer from PIA Interior), urban planning (Piya Limpiti, the Deputy Director of the Urban Ally Center, and Assistant Professor Dr. Supitcha Tovivich, professor at the Faculty of Architecture), and landscape architecture (Yossapon Boonsom, landscape architect from Shma, and Touchapon Suntrajarn, landscape architect from Landscape Collaboration).
Many talented influencers will also attend the event, including famous interviewer Yuthana Boonorm, Warittha Leelasestaporn, or Gift Lee, a content creator who has a special interest in visual art and design, and Phusanut Karunwongwat, the founder of the Youtube channel, thepleelachannel.
Human Library will be held as part of Architect Expo 2023, which will take place at Challenger Hall 1-3, Impact Muangthong Thani from April 25th to April 30th, 2023.
Please visit www.asaexpo.org/human-library for more information on the event program and registration.
Since the event is open to only a limited number of participants, reserve your spot now if you’re interested.
