WHO
moo is a design studio founded by Thos Prinyaknit that specializes in architecture and interior design.
WHAT
At moo, we see design as straightforward as a puzzle to solve. For us, design should be uncomplicated, approachable, and direct. While aesthetics are crucial, the real excitement comes from solving the problems presented.
WHEN
We started our operations in January 2023.
WHERE
We’re based in Bangkok, Thailand.

We constantly question and refine the design process. Our aim is to devise the best possible design solutions for the challenges presented by each project owner. We believe that a good process leads to great results, and that’s a foundation that moo is built on and continues to evolve from.

Our style is simple, easy to understand, and straightforward in addressing any challenges.

What is your inspiration and guiding principle for each creation?
The primary inspiration for every project is our desire to create beautiful works for our clients—that serves as our starting point. The most essential principle we follow in every endeavor is to identify and address the most significant challenges first, including those outlined in the brief and others we discover during the process.

What project are you most proud of?
Every project! (LOL) If we must choose from our recent portfolio, it would be the secret bar project. We transformed the living room of a condominium unit, which did not align with the owner’s lifestyle, into a bespoke personal bar. This project was not only challenging but also greatly reflected our identity. We did more than simply redecorate; we redefined the value of the space, enhancing its functionality and suitability to the owner’s needs. We are particularly proud of our renovation projects because they feel like we are reviving spaces that had previously lost their vibrancy.

Which stage of the design process do you like the most?
Undoubtedly, our favorite part is the planning stage. The initial problem-solving step for us involves determining the most suitable layout for the project. It is the most enjoyable and challenging part of every job for us.
If you could invite a ‘creative’ to coffee, who would you invite and why?
Steve Jobs would be our choice. His complex character as a creative CEO, his philosophies, and the ways he approached life and work, which we’ve learned about from books, movies, and biographies, are incredibly intriguing. His contributions to Apple distilled complex ideas into simple, functional designs that perfectly fulfilled their purposes.
