THE FUTURE OF CO-LIVING DESIGN COMPETITION

TCL design competition

(For Thai, press here)

art4d and TCL have partnered up to invite university students from design-related fields to participate in a competition focused on pioneering solutions for the future of co-living. The ‘Future of Co-living’ design competition aims to integrate TCL’s innovations into visionary shared living concepts and is part of TCL’s 20th anniversary celebration in Thailand.

Description

The competition challenges participants to conceive a co-living space, no larger than 200 square meters, capable of accommodating at least five individuals. The design must emphasize high-quality living environments enriched by imaginative applications of TCL’s technological innovations.

Participants are required to articulate the context of habitation and the demographic profile of its users clearly. They are granted the autonomy to select the type of co-living arrangement—be it dormitories, hostels, or communal residences—and must integrate a minimum of four designated TCL products, including at least one item from each specified category, without constraints on product dimensions.

Students eager to showcase their design prowess may register as individuals or in groups not exceeding three members, from any combination of disciplines, departments, or academic levels. Each contestant is permitted to submit only one entry.
