DecoMetal® by Homapal challenges and redefines these boundaries. This collection of metal-surfaced laminates from German specialist brand Homapal marries the allure of genuine metal with the versatility of laminate. Formica, Homapal’s sister brand in Asia, recently launched 19 new metallic surfaces under the DecoMetal® banner, unveiled at Architect Expo 2025, further expanding the palette of possibilities for designers.
These 19 designs fall into three principal groups: Elements, Perspective, and Gestures, with an additional Magnetic range as a functional complement. In contrast, Gestures embraces freedom and fluidity, evoking a hand-crafted sensibility with sweeping, organic strokes. Within these groups, individual finishes further refine their expression such as Metallic (Black/Silver/Gilt) under Elements; Woven (Argent/Cupro/Brass/Graphite) and Depths in Perspective; or the softly textured Rubbed series in Gestures.
