On September 18, 2025, Crystal Home, the distinguished importer and distributor of luxury bathroom fixtures and accessories, once again introduced a world-renowned brand to the Thai market. Titled The Craft of Living Salon – An Unveiling of Design You Can Feel, the event showcased two celebrated names, THG Paris and Composit, at Crystal Home within Crystal Design Center, Bangkok, Thailand.

Beyond the official launch of the brands, the event presented a beautifully curated exhibition that brought THG Paris and Composit’s products closer to their clientele. In line with Crystal Home’s belief that exceptional design is akin to art seamlessly woven into daily life, the exhibition invited designers and homeowners alike to engage with each collection in an intimate, tactile way.

The evening commenced with welcome addresses from H.E. Jean-Claude Poimbœuf, Ambassador of France to Thailand, and H.E. Paolo Dionisi, Ambassador of Italy to Thailand. Adding further depth to the occasion was an art talk featuring Chatchawan Jantachotibutr, Leica Thailand Ambassador, and Ten Sihabutr Xoomsai Na Ayudhya, filmmaker and Porsche collector. Together, they exchanged spirited reflections on passion, emotion, and the narratives that bind design, art, and human experience.

Many might wonder how the two guest speakers were connected to the event. The answer lies with one of the event’s protagonists: THG Paris, the French specialist in luxury faucets and bathroom fittings founded in 1956. While the brand has long maintained complete control over its design and production processes to safeguard uncompromising quality, it has also developed a rich portfolio of collaborations with leading designers and global brands. Among these are ZOOM, inspired by the form of a camera lens, and Icon X, created in partnership with Studio F. A. Porsche. The speakers of the art talk thus became a symbolic representation of diverse user perspectives while remaining closely tied to THG Paris’s design ethos.

Club Saint-Germain
The permanent selections introduced by Crystal Home for its showroom included not only ZOOM and Icon X, but also YOKO, a collection defined by a contemporary sensibility, and Club Saint-Germain, conceived to capture the romance and allure of Paris. These collections demonstrate that even within the realm of luxury, THG Paris’s inspirations are drawn from forms and experiences that feel familiar and relatable. To heighten the excitement, Crystal Home also presented the Mille Nuits collection by Mathias, showcased exclusively for this event.

Mille Nuits by Mathias

Mille Nuits by Mathias
The Mille Nuits collection by Mathias is a collaboration with the master artisans of Baccarat crystal, designed for those seeking distinctive and timeless statement pieces. Offered in clear, brume (frosted), and champagne finishes, each crystal element is paired with exquisitely crafted metalwork, resulting in creations that are both luminous and enduring.

ZOOM by Jean-Michel Wilmotte
ZOOM, by Jean-Michel Wilmotte, translates the precision of a zoom lens into the sculptural form of a faucet. The design is defined by its meticulous lines and a pair of contrasting rings. One polished to a brilliant shine, the other finely engraved. Together, they evoke both dynamism and stillness. The collection is available in a variety of finishes, including polished and satin gold, satin nickel, blush, amber PVD, and copper.

Icon X by Studio F. A. Porsche
Icon X, created in collaboration with Studio F. A. Porsche, reinterprets the design philosophy of Ferdinand Alexander Porsche. The design of the collection reflects a meticulous consideration of both form and function. Elegant and contemporary in appearance, it remains uncompromising in meeting practical demands through technology and material innovation. Every detail has been carefully thought through, from the capacitive touch sensor and infrared sensor to the electronic thermostat with button-and-dial control, extending even to the use of titanium. The collection places particular emphasis on the continuity of materials, underscoring a seamless unity in design. This refined balance of aesthetics, technology, and performance earned Icon X the 2021 Red Dot Design Award in Product Design.

YOKO is a contemporary collection designed to bring versatility and sophistication to high-end projects, whether in hotels or private residences. Its refined simplicity, adaptable across styles, opens up endless possibilities for interior expression. The collection is available in six variations: YOKO, YOKO COLOR (two-tone), YOKO ICE (translucent glass), YOKO HOWLITE (howlite stone), YOKO DELTA (patterned), and YOKO DELTA HOWLITE (metal combined with howlite stone). Together, these options can be mixed and matched in more than 24 combinations of colors and materials.

Club Saint-Germain

Club Saint-Germain

Club Saint-Germain
Club Saint-Germain draws inspiration from the legendary jazz clubs of Paris’s Saint-Germain-des-Prés district, celebrated for its cultural vibrancy throughout the 19th and 20th centuries. Conceived to harmonize with the elegance of Haussmannian architecture while updated with a contemporary touch, the collection evokes romance through distinctive detailing and the use of natural materials such as copper, wood, and leather.

Andrea Sorgente, Composit Executive
The spotlight then turned to Composit, the Italian brand specializing in kitchens and wardrobes, with a rich and longstanding heritage. Originating as a family-run business before expanding into industrial-scale production, Composit has remained steadfast in its belief in human passion and dedication. This philosophy underpins the brand’s guiding concept of ‘industrial products with a craftsmanship heart,’ which encapsulates a seamless blend of artisanal know-how and innovation that defines its high-quality kitchens and wardrobes, proudly bearing the Made in Italy mark. This commitment is further enhanced through the integration of high-quality fittings from the LEGRABOX series by Blum.

LINEA LUXE
Among its most iconic offerings, the LINEA collection comprises four sub-series: LINEA 30, PURE, EDGE, and ROUND. Building upon the collection’s elegant minimalism, LINEA embodies the idea of ‘timeless luxury,’ embracing a meticulous balance of design, materiality, and craftsmanship. Each series shares the defining traits of simplicity, continuity, and a pure aesthetic free from excess lines. Central to the design is the Gola system, a recessed channel that allows doors to be opened and closed without external handles, further accentuating LINEA’s clean visual flow. Materials include premium veneers, natural stone, glass, and high-gloss lacquer, presented in sophisticated dark tones that imbue interiors with depth and quiet elegance.

TOUCH | Photo courtesy of Crystal Home
TOUCH is a kitchen collection defined by sophisticated reduction, presenting simplicity and function in their purest forms to bring a sense of calm to the home. The collection uses the same material across countertops, sinks, and cabinetry, with options ranging from Fenix and HPL to resin and more. Its design carefully considers ergonomics, with differentiated height levels between sink and cooktop, while the push-to-open system ensures smooth operation with clean, handle-free surfaces, enhanced by recessed channels. A distinctive highlight of TOUCH is its innovative rear panel, which can be opened and closed with a sliding motion.

CÉLINE | Photo courtesy of Crystal Home
CÉLINE personifies a dialogue between luxury and classicism. The cabinet fronts are crafted from solid wood with elegant grooves, refined for the contemporary kitchen while preserving the timeless spirit of traditional European design. Cabinet structures can be specified in natural wood, matte lacquer, or soft-touch finishes, with handles offered in both classic forms and modern push-to-open systems.

The event also featured a live cooking session with Chef Marco Avesani from La Bottega, staged within the product display area. It offered a chance to see first-hand how Composit kitchens deliver not only beauty but also genuine practicality. Beyond the kitchen, Crystal Home presented Composit’s wardrobe systems, with both freestanding wardrobes and walk-in closets on view. Visitors could explore a wide range of configurations, including shelves, drawers, solid and glass-front cabinets, as well as suspended units for accessories, allowing each design to be tailored to different lifestyles and personal preferences.

The Craft of Living Salon – An Unveiling of Design You Can Feel by Crystal Home was conceived as a space where visitors could actively engage with design. This reflects a philosophy Crystal Home has long sought to share: that well-being is not defined by function and aesthetics alone, but also by the sense of affinity homeowners feel for their surroundings. While some designers may dismiss this as intangible, in reality, ‘atmosphere’ and the joy of being surrounded by what we love are essential elements that enrich daily life with happiness.
The exhibition segment of The Craft of Living Salon – An Unveiling of Design You Can Feel runs from September 19 to October 19, 2025, at the Crystal Home Concept Store, CDC, Building D, Level 1. Highlights include a photographic showcase by Chatchawan Jantachotibutr presented alongside the ZOOM collection, as well as an immersive scent installation by Achitpol Panthong of Ashram Scent, created for Club Saint-Germain, among many other engaging features.
