When it comes to ‘luxury’ in interior architecture, it is often associated with the visual weight and solidity of materials. Composit, an Italian luxury furniture and kitchen brand, and Crystal Home, a distributor of bathroom fixtures and premium kitchen systems, offer an alternative interpretation through ‘Materya 2026.’ The new kitchen collection comes directly from Milan Design Week for its first presentation in Thailand and Asia.

The collection will be presented at the Italian Pavilion during FIND – Design Fair Asia 2026. This dedicated zone brings together manufacturers that adhere to  Made in Italy production standards, offering architects and interior designers an opportunity to experience Italian materials, craftsmanship, design firsthand.

The original Materya 2024 collection, designed by Jamie Rezaie, expressed luxury through crisp, angular forms. For its 2026 iteration, Jamie and Composit have introduced a new direction under the concept ‘The Lightness of Nature,’ introducing a more open, relaxed, and natural atmosphere within the home. Rounded lines soften the solidity of the cabinetry while bringing warmth to the kitchen as a central space for everyday living and relaxation. This approach also reflects the renewed interest in curved forms, which evoke nature within a world increasingly shaped by technology.

The understated character of Materya 2026 is developed through three key dimensions of design:

Light in Material: The material palette balances aesthetic appeal with practical use. Travertino Bianco porcelain is applied to the countertop, island, and backsplash, recreating the pattern and texture of natural stone in a lighter, easier-to-maintain form.

It is paired with warm Sand Oak veneer on the cabinet fronts and shelving, while the extractor hood is finished in a custom Crystal Biotite lacquer that produces a subtle metallic sheen.

Light in Form: The side panels feature a Soft Curve with a 75 mm radius, softening the visual rigidity of conventional built-in cabinetry. These rounded edges give the counters a softer, more fluid appearance when viewed from different angles.

Light in Function: The kitchen is designed around ergonomics and everyday use, following Italian design standards. Soft-closing doors help minimize noise, while a built-in sliding breakfast table can be extended to provide additional surface area and tucked away when no longer in use. Inside, the drawers are lined with regenerated leather to protect the items placed within them.

Materya 2026 draws on Composit’s heritage as an Italian kitchen manufacturer, guided by its philosophy of ‘Italian Excellence’—an approach that combines visual refinement with practical function. Its story began in 1960, when the Belligotti brothers established a furniture factory in Pesaro, an Italian coastal city and one of the country’s key centers for woodworking and furniture production. They officially founded Composit in 1974, with a dedicated focus on kitchen systems.

Today, Composit continues to pass down its knowledge and craftsmanship from one generation to the next, drawing on more than three generations  of experience while incorporating advanced manufacturing technologies. The brand also continues to research and develop new materials, resulting in hundreds of options for cabinet fronts, colors, materials, and surface finishes.

Combined with a modular design system, this extensive range of materials enables architects and interior designers to customize each project in considerable detail. Cabinet dimensions can be adapted to suit individual ergonomics and the available space, while colors, wood grains, and textures can be coordinated across the kitchen, living room, decorative wall systems, and dressing areas to create visual continuity throughout the home. This flexibility also makes the system suitable for ultra-luxury residential projects requiring a high degree of customization.

The introduction of Materya 2026 in Thailand is organized by Crystal Home, a distributor of comprehensive  bathroom and kitchen solutions. Through the collection, the company aims to offer a new option for residential projects in which design, material selection, and everyday use are approached as an integrated whole.
