GET READY FOR A HOLISTIC ART EXPERIENCE AT ART JAKARTA 2025, WITH SIX ZONES REFLECTING CONTEMPORARY IDEAS AND CROSS-BORDER COLLABORATION

After introducing some of the featured artists and galleries, let’s now step into the expansive halls of B3, C1, and C3 at the Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo), where Art Jakarta 2025 is meticulously curated into six main zones:

  • Lead Partner Highlight, Portrait of Possibilities. Presented by Bibit

Lead Partner Highlights: A dedicated space for Art Jakarta’s lead sponsors: Julius Baer, Bibit, Treasury, and BCA, alongside main partners such as SUPERMUSIC, iForte & iForte Energi, TACO, and CASA.

SPOT: A spotlight zone for solo exhibitions and large-scale works by Indonesian artists, showcasing their artistic process and thematic explorations.

Galleries: Featuring artists from 75 galleries across 16 countries, including host Indonesia, as well as Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Japan, and Thailand’s own Warin Lab Contemporary.

SCENE: A platform for 33 art collectives and artist groups from across Indonesia, presenting their work and fundraising efforts to expand the country’s artistic ecosystem.

AJX: An ‘Art Jakarta X …’ is a collaborative space where institutions and private companies partner with Art Jakarta. This year’s collaborations include Korea Focus, MTN, and NCAS, each bringing their unique identity into the mix.

Art Jakarta Papers 2026 – A teaser for Jakarta’s upcoming art fair dedicated to works on paper, ranging from painting and drawing to sculpture and installation. Scheduled for 5–8 February 2026.

Beyond these zones, the fair also offers curated talks, screenings, performances, and a curated food market—making it a full comprehensive  cultural experience.
