WHO
“REC” also “recreationbkk” stands for the word “recreation” which could be pronounce in two meaning, rec·re·a·tion as an activity done for enjoyment and re·cre·a·tion as a simulation of something back again
WHAT
REC is a landscape-base practice focusing on exploration of possibilities for better designed environment enhancing the ecology of human-nature interaction in a creative manner
WHEN
Recently launched early this year 2022, working as a new design department in associated with Landscape Planning Company Limited, one of a pioneer landscape firm in Thailand
WHERE
Based in 61/206, Soi Thaveemit 9, Rama IX Road, Huaykwang, Khet Huaykwang, Bangkok, Thailand. WHY
We believe strongly that, our living environment today could get better, by all participation of people with same ideology, from various fields. In our generation, we could start the transformation process, the movement for a better place. With our profession as landscape architects, we would like to address our ideas towards landscape designs which influence changes of perception and interaction between human and nature. We would like to create understanding, communicate our ideas, and provide alternatives of possibility, broadly to public, so people could get inspired and continue to pass on to the others

Where do you go, or what do you do when you get stuck on a project?
Take a break from a project that you are working on and go out to get inspiration. You get stuck because you are lack of fresh ideas. We personally think inspiration could come from any common sources from our daily routine, problems that you can see on the way to work every day, news on social media, design products on instragram, even a conversation with your friends. Our key is to be always mentally prepared, be open minded and practice thinking critically as a habit. As a result, you probably see things differently, new ideas !!!
What project are you most proud of?
All of them! We try to implement new ideas in each of our project, with its own design principle, solving particular problems. Together, whether big or small, those ideas could help shaping a better environment bit by bit. With the specificity of the idea behind and the variety of beneficial advantages, we actually cannot choose one. We are proud of them equally
If you could invite any creative out for coffee, who would you choose and why?
We always look forward to the whole future generations, not in particular individuals. In recent years, they keep inspiring us with courage and individuality and great perception for their own well-being now and also their future, which gives us hope and will, to continue our work for them. We believe that they surely could carry on and push what we start further in the future. We would like to invite any young designers who share the same goal as us, to exchange our design perspective and hopefully collaborate
