Underlying the substance of things, nonetheless, are the ‘senses’ imprinted in a space. Such senses can be mundane experiences you have while lounging in a room or your mood while watching a dreary landscape. These encounters reveal how we would like to spend our time in a certain environment.
One of the greatest challenges for real estate developers has always been communicating a captivating narrative that satisfies potential users. Andrea Mongia is an Italian illustrator and among the rising artists to watch from Europe. His simplistic yet idiosyncratic flat illustration is a depiction of mundane but relatable tales of daily existence. Andrea, whose works have appeared in publications such as The Wall Street Journal, Architectural Digest, Forbes, and The New Yorker, among others, was named to Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list in Art and Culture in 2019.
For this special campaign, Andrea’s work does not convey the spatial aspect of one’s living experience but puts an emphasis on illustrating the sense and sensibility of life through a video piece, which portrays daily routines, with the hotel-like services and facilities and the lifestyle one can adopt from the offered living experiences. ‘Life at its Finest’ refers to the state of being able to relish every aspect and detail of daily life to the fullest. The uniqueness of a living experience, in my opinion, resides in all the incidental nuances. I believe that individuals can enjoy happiness, convenience, and comfort not only on special occasions but also on a daily basis. These things give each day greater significance. Jazz music’s presence in the campaign is also intended to portray the easy delight and comfort that is a result of complex, thoughtful ideation and attention to detail. It wonderfully encapsulates SCOPE’s design philosophy and service.”
