The ‘Architect’ 24′ this year showcases a diverse array of booths, as usual, featuring a wide range of products and services in the design sector. Among the highlights are new products and innovations related to architecture. Notably, WINDSOR, a leading brand in the ASEAN vinyl doors and windows market operated by Nawaplastic Industries under SCGC is one of this year’s prominent participants.

Architecture invariably incorporates doors and windows, regardless of exterior appearance or design complexity—except in specialized structures such as swiftlet birdhouses, which are rare exceptions. With today’s technological advancements, a wide variety of materials are available for window and door frames. In this series, we will explore vinyl, the primary material WINDSOR utilizes in developing its products, tailored to meet diverse architectural needs from residential to commercial buildings.

WINDSOR is dedicated to creating high-quality products and services with an environmental focus. At ‘Architect’ 24′, their booth is organized around three main themes: ‘Ultimate Protection’, which offers features to safeguard homes and their residents; ‘New Product Design’, providing versatile design solutions; and ‘Sustainability’, emphasizing environmentally friendly materials. The pavilion, simple yet modern, mirrors the brand’s contemporary ethos and displays various sizes of doors and windows, showcasing their capabilities.

Ultimate Protection

Windows and doors, crucial for withstanding environmental challenges, are essential for managing interior spaces. They function both to permit the entry of light and air and to ensure privacy and protection from external threats.

Inside the pavilion’s first floor, the brand warmly invites attendees to explore the real-world functionalities of WINDSOR products—not merely to touch and feel, but to engage directly through testing scenarios that address common residential challenges. These tests focus on crucial aspects such as heat protection and soundproofing.

WINDSOR windows and doors are engineered to substantially reduce heat transfer into homes, thereby promoting sustainable energy savings. Additionally, they offer impressive noise reduction capabilities of up to 32 decibels and shield interiors from PM2.5 particulate pollution. This ensures that both designers and homeowners can rely on the comfort and integrity of their living spaces without the concerns about potential leaks often associated with other materials.

New Product Design Freedom in Design Solutions

This year, the WINDSOR booth’s highlights include the debut of the SIGNATURE PRO and RIGHT XTEND product lines, each distinguished by its innovative features. SIGNATURE PRO caters to designs that demand expansive views, such as holiday homes, resorts, or pool villas, featuring a new sliding system that can achieve openings up to 5.6 meters in width and 3 meters in height, thereby providing unobstructed views of the natural surroundings.

RIGHT XTEND, which builds upon the success of the RIGHT series, presents a modern, sleek, and sophisticated aesthetic. It features an enlarged frame size of 10 centimeters, allowing it to seamlessly integrate with the wall and support heights of up to 2.7 meters. Additionally, it includes a 6-pin lock and anti-lift enhancements, making it ideally suited for high-security residential environments.

Sustainability – Environmentally Friendly Materials

Another key aspect of WINDSOR is its commitment to environmental sustainability. The company utilizes vinyl, a long-lasting and attractive alternative to real wood, manufactured through energy-efficient processes. This material not only has a prolonged lifespan but also incorporates technology capable of eliminating up to 100% of waste from the assembly process. Furthermore, installing WINDSOR products in a home can cut CO2 emissions by up to 39 kgCO2 annually, the equivalent of planting five trees, thus making a significant contribution to creating environments that are more in tune with the natural world.
