Aretḗ Winery, Khao Yai, Thailand
by Baze Charl Suaesakul
Aretḗ Winery emerges as a landmark in Thailand’s Khao Yai region, envisioned as a catalyst for its transformation into a premium wine destination. Its design leverages the topography for sustainable gravity-flow winemaking, reflecting a commitment to innovation and an expression of the unique terroir.
More than merely a production facility, the winery seeks to establish a profound connection between visitors and the natural world. The architecture embodies a mixed-use strategy, prioritizing both human experience and the well-being of integrated elephants. Visitors will observe elephants in a respectful environment, witnessing their role in the winemaking process.
This immersive experience transcends traditional wine tourism. Imagine observation points overlooking vineyards and elephant bathing areas, their sounds intermingling with the clink of glasses. The winery becomes a symbol of Khao Yai’s identity: a place where innovation, sustainability, and an unforgettable visitor experience converge, inspired by the land, its products, and the intricate dance between humans and nature.

Nora Museum in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Thailand
by Teeravee Voowongs
‘Nora’ has gained world heritage status from UNESCO, but nowadays, there is not any existing place in Thailand that officially supports and preserves Nora. Nora Museum is a place that creates awareness and pride for local culture and the world’s heritage. It will be a place for people from southern to other regions and also foreigners to explore and understand all aspects of Nora. Therefore, a main exhibition, performance theater, workshop, and other support facilities provide a sense of place identity to preserve the life and spirit of Nora by merging technology to create interaction and immersive experiences for younger generations and wide audiences.

Color Sanctuary Spa
by Nithikorn Suwanthevarat
The project stems from the creator’s personal experiences of work-related stress and physical discomfort, prompting the creation of a unique spa concept in Thailand. This aims to diversify and enhance the spa industry to appeal to both locals and tourists seeking relaxation and innovative spa experiences. Research on global spa trends is underway to identify key features.
The key design element for the Color Sanctuary Spa is chromotherapy, a method originating from India that utilizes light and color therapy to balance the body’s systems based on the chakras. Main inspiration for the concept is the chakra color and applying the other element of the chakra color. First is the wavelength of color which shows through the different frequency rhythm of the wavelength and each color will have a different frequency. The other element is the connection of each chakra color which is represented through the transparency overlapping.
