Founded in 2014, The Festival of Architecture and Interior Design (FOAID) returns for its 12th edition in 2025, held under the theme ‘Your Ideas. Your Story. Your Festival,’ bringing together the brightest minds in architecture and design for an inspiring celebration of creativity, innovation, and collaboration. Recognized as India’s largest architecture and design festival, FOAID features a high-impact conference and exhibition that showcases the latest ideas, materials, and innovations shaping the built environment.
This year, the festival is divided into two editions: the New Delhi Edition, which concluded on 21–22 November 2025, and the Mumbai Edition, scheduled to take place on 19–20 December 2025. Key highlights of the festival include the following activities:
Design Arena: A vibrant showcase of the latest and most innovative products and projects in design. This dynamic space features cutting-edge installations, creative displays, and 200+ groundbreaking projects that push the boundaries of design. Visitors can explore a curated collection of work from leading architects, designers, and innovative brands, offering a glimpse into the future of design. In Mumbai’s Design Arena, the space will showcase the latest advancements in sustainable materials, smart technologies, and innovative products. Alongside this, the Lighting Pavilion will feature inventive lighting solutions that are both functional and visually striking. Over 150 projects will be on display.
Design Karyashala: This platform offers an open dialogue where ideas are freely communicated, and questions are answered directly by a panel of established architects and designers. Designed to bridge the verbal gap between the emerging and established generations, Uncensored encourages critical thinking and fosters a deeper understanding of architectural discourse.
CMC Design Manthan: A thought-leadership conference that brings together thinkers, industry experts, and emerging designers to explore the future of architecture and design. Featuring over 150 renowned speakers from India and around the world, the conference spans 20 sessions of panel discussions, debates, and interactive Q&A, with key speakers including Elizabeth Diller of Diller Scofidio + Renfro, Soo K. Chan of SCDA, and Sanjay Puri of Sanjay Puri Architects.
VOX Architecture Ideas Competition: A competitive platform for architects and designers that champions new ideas and challenges the boundaries of architecture and interior design.
Expressions: Expressions Art Installation Competition is a vibrant platform for students to bring their creative visions to life. This competition invites architects and designers to showcase their innovative art installations, pushing the boundaries of design and creativity in order to celebrate the fusion of art and architecture, inspiring the next generation of creative talent.
