WHAT PROJECT ARE YOU MOST PROUD OF?
MARQUE Sukhumvit 39 – when I was working full time at my old office, I designed a mock up room and a client saw it and liked it. So, he went and contacted my office and asked for me to design another unit and I did. As the project progressed, I ended up quitting my job so this client terminated the contract with my old office and asked me to continue the work for him. I was on a verge of quitting interior design all together and I told him that I couldn’t do it because I was planning to go on a trip. He told me he could wait and that I could travel all I wanted. I couldn’t say no so I came back and finished the job. Then he asked me to work on more projects and recommended me to several other clients. It felt pretty good and I started to realize that interior design would probably be the only thing I’m good at and that it’s a career I’m going to have to keep moving forward in. It’s become one of the areas in my life that I pride myself in.
