With humans spending much more time at home, every area of a house has been reinvented to suit users’ increasingly diversified activities and behaviors in a more comprehensive manner. Restrooms no longer exist for their utilitarian purposes but have evolved into a place where people can relax and unwind after a long day. Aside from that, bathrooms can show the owner’s personality through the use of functional and decorative items, a carefully crafted atmosphere, the colors, patterns, and textures of sanitary wares, or even the details of accessories and fittings.
Nonetheless, while greater emphasis is being placed on restroom design, the water heater is mistakenly disregarded. Perhaps it has something to do with people’s familiarity with the shapes and colors of water heaters chosen for most bathroom designs, where minimalism and simplicity are preferred and believed to readily blend into any design aesthetic. This is not the strategy taken by MEX, a prominent innovator and manufacturer of bathroom and kitchen appliances. MEX sees water heaters as a one-of-a-kind piece of furniture. Since 2017, the brand’s Limited Edition water heaters have been making waves in the market with their unique designs, which include bright geometric patterns, a premium, luxurious feel, and mysterious and exotic Moroccan motifs inspired by Arabian architecture.
Aside from their visually appealing appearance, MEX’s limited edition water heaters have incredible engineering attributes and technologies that can maintain the desired water temperature, allowing the water to reach and maintain the desired temperature level more efficiently with the “Spiral Flow Heating System,” a patented innovation by MEX. Not only that, because of the highly precise and safe magnetic field detection, the “Hall Effect Sensor” allows the heaters to work perfectly even with low water pressure.
MEX’s Colorized by Nature Collection for 2022 incorporates natural colors into the design of their water heaters. The first of the two patterns, Terracotta, takes the earthenware’s distinct tone and combines it with the ornamental features of confederate roses and mosaic tiles for a contemporary Asian touch. Meanwhile, with Terrazzo, the patterns of the material are given a fresh interpretation, providing a look and feel that are unique from those used in flooring and furniture and adding a lively flair to a seemingly simple bathroom. MEX’s water heaters easily give a bathroom a new, more modern look and a natural appeal, especially when the main body and shower head have a beautiful curved shape and contour.
When it comes to safety, every standard model of MEX’s water heaters offers the highest level of protection as the first brand to be certified by the worldwide standard TÜV SÜD. Each item is equipped with a safety thermostat that will promptly shut down the machine if an unexpectedly high water temperature is detected. Furthermore, an ELCB is a high-quality breaker that can terminate electrical current within 0.1 second, even with a leakage current as low as 15 milliamps. MEX’s Colorized by Nature is ideal for those who enjoy a relaxing hot shower or wish to add a unique touch to their bathroom.
