Plu Ploen
By Thartam Kangsadapipop

Talat Phlu is an older neighborhood with a diversified culture. However, the neighborhood is currently dealing with the issue of underutilized space. It has become a barrier to the community’s economy; its only advantage is its food offers, but it is competing with newly opened markets that have more dining space, are cleaner, and offer a wider range of products, attracting a big number of Talat Phlu consumers. As a result, the project provides a concept for using design to bring the distinctiveness of Talat Phlu’s cuisine culture, performance culture, travel, and way of life to the forefront. This intends to attract client groups while also improving the neighborhood, changing it into a tourist destination and model community in Thonburi District.
